Cambridge International · IGCSE · O Level · A LevelPremium online tutoring across the whole Cambridge pathway — IGCSE, O Level and AS & A Level — for international-school families in the UAE, the UK and worldwide. Examiner-level tutors, matched to your child’s exact syllabus and school, live in your timezone.
All of them. Apex Cambridge tutors cover the whole pathway: Cambridge IGCSE (ages 14–16, over 70 subjects, graded A*–G), Cambridge O Level, and Cambridge International AS & A Level (ages 16–19, graded a–e and A*–E). Every tutor is matched to your child’s exact stage, subject and syllabus code — one centre for the whole journey, live in your timezone.
The world’s most popular international qualification for 14–16s — 70+ subjects, Core or Extended, assessed at the end of the course.
An upper-secondary alternative to IGCSE offered in some regions — the same examiner-level tutoring, matched to your school.
The advanced route to university. AS is roughly half a full A Level; A Level carries UCAS Tariff points in the UK.

In three steps. Cambridge IGCSE (age 14–16) is the foundation, taken as Core or Extended. AS Level (age 16–17) is the first advanced year and roughly half a full A Level. A Level (age 17–19) is the final step, accepted by UK universities grade-for-grade with GCE A Levels — offers are made in grades, such as AAB. Apex supports each step up.
Core or Extended — the foundation for everything that follows.
The first advanced year — roughly half of a full A Level.
The final step — accepted grade-for-grade for UK university entry.
Three reasons, in the order parents ask them. One centre covers Cambridge, IB and Pearson Edexcel, so siblings on different curricula share one matched team. The proof is verifiable: a 5.0 rating from 65 independently verified Google and Facebook reviews, shown verbatim. And pricing is transparent — the same examiner-level teaching as the boutique leaders, booked in minutes through the live MyAPEX app. Pick a reason; the panel follows.
The usual route is IGCSE then A Level or IB — and siblings are often on different curricula. Apex covers Cambridge, IB and Pearson Edexcel, so one centre supports your family’s whole journey.
A perfect 5.0 from 65 independently-verified Google and Facebook reviews (56 Google + 9 Facebook) — shown verbatim, not summarised into a marketing number.
Premium tutoring without premium-boutique markups, and clear pricing rather than a “contact us for a quote” wall. Book in minutes through the live MyAPEX app.
Apex tutors the full Cambridge pathway online: Cambridge IGCSE and O Level (upper secondary, roughly ages 14–16) and Cambridge International AS & A Level (advanced, roughly ages 16–19). Lessons are one-to-one, matched to your child’s exact syllabus and school, and delivered live in your timezone.
They are separate qualifications, but recognised as comparable. UK NARIC (now UK ENIC) benchmarked Cambridge IGCSE as comparable to the standard of the UK GCSE, and Russell Group universities including Oxford, Cambridge and LSE make no distinction between IGCSE and GCSE in admissions.
Many IGCSE subjects are tiered. Core covers the essential content and targets grades C–G; Extended adds further topics and targets grades A*–E. In Maths (0580), for example, Core sits Papers 1 and 3 while Extended sits Papers 2 and 4. Students heading for A Level typically take Extended.
Cambridge IGCSE is graded A*–G (below G is “Ungraded”), Cambridge O Level A*–E, and A Level A*–E — with AS Level a–e and no A* at AS. Schools in administrative zone 3, which includes the UK, may choose 9–1 graded IGCSEs instead of A*–G; all other schools keep A*–G.
Cambridge runs two main exam series each year — June and November — so a student can retake a subject in a later series to improve a grade. Exact dates and entry deadlines are set per series and per administrative zone, so always check your centre’s current timetable.
Yes. In the UK, IGCSE is benchmarked comparable to GCSE and Cambridge A Levels are accepted grade-for-grade with UK A Levels for university entry. In the UAE, the Ministry of Education recognises Cambridge qualifications through a Grade-12 equivalency certificate, which students need to enter an accredited UAE university.
Yes. Apex tutors Cambridge students worldwide, with a focus on the UAE and UK. Because delivery is fully online, your tutor is matched to your child’s curriculum and timezone rather than your city — the same examiner-level teaching whether you’re in Dubai, London or elsewhere.
